About us

Our company's history dates back to 1993 with being a German sales agent for the company ROTEN® Srl, with headquarters in Milan, Italy. ROTEN has been one of the leading manufacturers for OEM mechanical seals since 1945. While still being a sales agent for ROTEN, we established MSG Dichtungswerk GmbH (MSG) in 2004. Under this company, MSG develops, produces and sells its own product range that is entirely manufactured in-house at our site in Mücke - Made in Germany.

As an international seal specialist, MSG has different options to respond to the most difficult customer requirements and thus, to be able to provide you with the most effective solutions. We thus set the highest standards when it comes to out working methods and the quality of our products and services. MSG is a reliable supplier who is focused on providing the best and the most cost-effective sealing solutions to its customers across the world. This is our maxim.

Development, construction and production under one roof

Our engineers develop and construct customised mechanical seals for you, which are used for every imaginable application. That’s why you’ll find MSG products in almost all industrial sectors such as the pharmaceutical industry, the food & beverage industry, the marine industry and many more.

According to the special requirements of our customers, MSGDichtungswerk GmbH carries out in-house production of almost all types of standard and special mechanical seals, elastomer bellows and metal bellows seals, PTFE bellows seals, cartridge versions as well as OEM mechanical seals. We can produce according to customer-specific requirements or versions from various materials.

With our own in-house MSG repair service, we can rework on defective, worn out or old seals and bring them back to a new condition and restore it to a tip-top condition. Our technicians can determine whether a reworking is worthwhile after analysing the work piece on the basis of various elements.

In order to become more capable of competing in the OEM equipment sector, our own manufacturing plant in China, near Shanghai, commenced production in 2005. This is where most components for OEM models are produced and checked by own staff according to the same high MSG quality standards that are used in Germany.

We have been relying on the skills and abilities of our staff and building upon continuous education and training ever since our foundation. We have the best staff, which is why, they also need the best machines with the most minimal tolerances. Therefore, our machinery has the state-of-the-art technology. This is essential for our products to stand up to the demanding quality controls and meet the high requirements that you, as customers put on us. Besides, it has been a key to the success of our company. We of course have all the necessary certificates for the same. Our service team, which consists exclusively of highly trained technicians, ensures that you receive competent, reliable and fast solutions to your problems related to sealing.

Wir können jede Art von Gleitringdichtung bei uns im Haus fertigen. Aufbauend auf unserem CAD Sytem, mit welchem wir unsere Dichtungsteile zeichnen und konstruieren können, werden diese Daten an unsere hoch moderne CNC – Maschinen weiter geleitet. Auch 3D Ziechung und Simulationen sind jederzeit möglich.
